I'm trying to embed mp3's in an existing article and all I'm getting is the code {mp3}filename{/mp3} showing.

Step by step

-- I downloaded the AllVideos plugin, installed and enabled it
-- I put my mp3's in the folder at this path -- images/stories/audio
-- I'm using the JCE editor and can put the code in the WYSIWYG or HTML view
-- I've tried putting the code in both ways with the same result - the code shows
-- I put the code in with/without the .mp3 extension --  {mp3}WODS_9.8.11{/mp3} or {mp3}WODS_9.8.11.mp3{/mp3}
-- I also tried putting the code inside and outside <p></p> tags

I need some help with what I'm doing wrong.

AllVideo Plugin in Article - Won't display anything but code {mp3}filename{/mp3}

Did you set the path in AllVideos plugin setting
images/stories/audio

i think you should check if you are writing the file name correctly.

Lets assume that your mp3 file is called "magnet.mp3" and you've uploaded it into the folder ..../images/stories/music or whatever it is. when writing the code you should make sure you exclude the .mp3 extension. e.g {mp3}magnet{/mp3}.

Also you should go to extension/plugins manager/allvideo on your admin panel to check if the plugin is enabled and also to check if file path/directory the plugin uses to access your music file is the same with the path/directory you have uploaded your mp3 files.i.e check if its the same with ..images/stories/music or whatever you call it.

lastly you should go to articles/options/filtering on your admin panel and make sure that you disable text filtering by setting all the levels to "none". good luck :)
